Marshall AVT-50 Combo Reviews  4 / 5 based on 3 reviews This amp really isn't anything special. The price is the only thing about it that is good, which makes sense considering it's not that great overall. The sound isn't the best I've heard from Marshall. For beginners, and guys who need a decent practice amp for metal, this might work, but everybody else could do better. [read more on Audiofanzine] mooseherman rated this unit on 2011-09-02. These amps are not being produced anymore and so the used market is the only option at this point. I have no idea what they are going for these days in this market. I think with the hybrid technology with solid state and tubes give this amp a step above the all solid state amps, but it still doesn't get that real tube punch.
